The Mission's dental clinic was opened in 1995, the first of its kind
in Washington State. The clinic provides free, quality dental care for
Seattle's homeless staying at the Mission or other local Rescue
Missions, in a state of the art facility adjoining the Men's Shelter in
Pioneer Square.
We offer emergency procedures, restorative, oral surgery
and hygiene care. The beautifully arranged, 1500 square foot clinic has
three dental operatories, complete with an array of supplies, including
safety glasses and gowns. In addition, it has a staff lounge with a
private office for volunteer dentists.
The clinic is coordinated by the Dental Clinic Director
but the volunteer dentists and hygienists keep our doors open.
If you would like more information or are interested in
volunteering, please contact Juanita 206.621.7695.
