New Vision Recovery Program
The New Vision residential drug and alcohol recovery program was established in 1991 and is housed in a beautiful historic building in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.

The program is 12 months and is based on the biblical principles of grace, restoration, and transformation. The goal is to help men break the cycle of addiction and help reconcile them with God and their families.

New Vision Referrals

The men we serve come to us in a variety of ways. Some are referred through the court system, others are referred by concerned family members and friends. We also get several referrals from churches and other Mission programs. Pre-Intakes are facilitated on Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon for individuals seeking to enter the program.

The New Vision 12-month program provides:

  • 12-Step involvement
  • One-to-One counseling
  • Group Therapy
  • Drug and Alcohol Education
  • Special retreats and recreational activities
  • Biblical instruction
  • Relationship counseling
  • Work therapy
  • Aftercare programs
  • Life-skills training
  • Relapse Prevention classes
Post-Graduate Opportunities

After graduation from the program, men are given the opportunity to stay for extended periods as they pursue schooling or employment. In addition, the New Vision staff continues their care and guidance through personal support and follow-up. We walk with men through their transition from our facility, and help them to find housing. This is often the key to success in staying drug and alcohol free.

New Vision graduates also have the opportunity to enter our one-year Christian Service Internship (CSI) program, also located at our Capitol Hill facility. While in CSI men receive spiritual and practical training that will prepare them for full-time Christian service.

For more information please contact the New Vision clerk at 206.322.6801.
